THE VISION
Raising Believers Established in Christ
HFTR Ministries was founded with a clear vision: to see believers firmly established in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the finished work of redemption.
The Gospel is not merely a message to be heard—it is a truth that transforms lives when it is clearly understood.
Our mission is to raise a generation of believers who: • Understand the Scriptures
• Live from the finished work of Christ
• Walk confidently in their identity in Him
• Share the message of the Gospel with the world
Our Beliefs: The Foundation of the Finished Work
At HFTR Ministries, our beliefs are not just a list of doctrines; they are the heartbeat of our ministry. We are committed to the Christocentric Gospel, which is the accurate interpretation of the Scriptures through the lens of the person and finished work of Jesus Christ.
1. The Christ-Centered Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, but it must be rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15). The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. We believe that Jesus is the key to understanding all of Scripture. As Jesus taught on the road to Emmaus, all the Law and the Prophets point to Him (Luke 24:27).
2. The Finished Work of Christ
We believe that when Jesus cried out, “It is finished!” (John 19:30), He meant exactly that. The work of redemption is complete.
- Substitutionary Sacrifice: Jesus took our place, bore our sins, and suffered the full judgment of God on our behalf.
- Total Forgiveness: Through His blood, we have the forgiveness of sins—past, present, and future (Ephesians 1:7).
- Victory over Death: His resurrection is the proof of our justification and the guarantee of our eternal life.
3. The New Creation Identity
We believe that anyone who is in Christ is a New Creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). This is not a “repaired” version of the old man, but a brand-new species of being that never existed before.
- Righteousness as a Gift: We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). This righteousness is a gift received by faith, not a reward for our performance.
- Holy and Blameless: In Christ, we are holy, blameless, and beyond reproach in God’s sight (Colossians 1:22).
4. Grace vs. Law
We believe in the radical distinction between the Old Covenant of Law and the New Covenant of Grace.
- The Law: Was given to reveal sin and lead us to Christ (Galatians 3:24). It was never intended to save or sanctify the believer.
- Grace: Is the power of God that saves us and teaches us to live godly lives (Titus 2:11-12). We are not under law, but under grace (Romans 6:14).
5. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ who indwells every believer.
- The Seal of Redemption: He is the guarantee of our inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14).
- The Teacher of Truth: He reveals the things of Christ to us and empowers us to walk in the reality of our sonship.
- Effortless Living: The fruit of the Spirit is produced as we rest in the finished work, not through our self-effort.
6. The Eternal Security of the Believer
We believe that our salvation is held by the power of God, not our own strength. Because we are born of God, we are eternally secure in Him. Our life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3).
7. The Great Commission
We believe the Church is called to be Heralds of the Finished Work. Our mission is to go into all the world and announce the Good News: that God is no longer counting men’s sins against them and has reconciled the world to Himself through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19).
