Church, in Chapter 5 we discovered that righteousness is not a mountain to climb.
It is a gift to receive.
We learned that our standing before God is settled by Christ, not sustained by human effort.
But revelation always raises responsibility.
Once the believer knows they are righteous, the next question is not whether they are accepted.
The next question is:
“What kind of life grows from this new nature?”
The answer is holiness.
Not legalism.
Not outward performance.
Not religious pressure.
But the fruit that naturally grows from a life rooted in Christ.
So Chapter 5 gave us right standing.
Chapter 6 now gives us right expression.
This is the series progression:
- grace gave access
- faith received it
- identity redefined us
- sonship secured us
- righteousness established us
- holiness now expresses us
This is not behavior modification.
This is nature manifestation.
