Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 | Preacher: Moses Prem | Series: Christ Our Message
Christianity begins with a declaration, not an instruction.
Many people think faith begins with effort, improvement, or morality. They start with questions like:
- “How do I become holy?”
- “How do I please God?”
- “What must I do to earn His favor?”
But Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:1–4, Christianity starts with news: the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
The Gospel is God’s accomplishment, not human performance. It is an announcement: “This is what Christ has done for you.”
If we fail to understand the Gospel, every other doctrine will be distorted. That’s why this week we answer the question:
What is the Gospel?
